Wind Farms eh?
It’s surprising with all the fuss kicked up about the increasing levels of pollution, that action is being taken…sort of. Hong Kong Electric are looking into building the city’s first wind farm.
There’s already a wind turbine on Lamma Island, so wondering how effective it will all be. Of course it could all be just hot air ;), with an excuse to raise prices and to be built in the long term future but at least the company is acknowledging they have a part to play (or even pay) in the rising levels of Hong Kong pollution.
It’s also funny that China Light and Power, the other Electric Company is showing adverts to the tune of - Every day we plant new trees….hmm big deal, that’s not really going to stop the pollution that they emit.
