Taiwan
Spent the weekend in Taipei and it was amazing. Large open spaces, countryside, mountains and seemed less crowdy than in HK. Taipei also felt slightly Japanese, having seen loads of sushi bars and small Japanese style houses - I later learnt that Taiwan was ruled by Japan for over 50 years, so I guess the influence is going to rub off!
Overall, it was an excellent experience and I’d recommend a visit.
