Hygiene Habits

I suppose I’ve become more aware of hygiene habits since I’ve come back to England. For example in HK you wouldn’t really eat a bag of crisps without washing your hands first. But over here you see people out and about stuffing their face and licking their fingers afterwards – yuk.

I guess another thing is the lack of toothpicks. Over here, toothpicks are called “Cocktail Sticks” and usually can be found with a party sausage or a bit of cheese and pineapple on the end.

Talking of food, I wonder what all you Brit Expats stationed in HK will be eating for your Christmas meal? I’ll be tucking into roast turkey, parsnips, spuds with bisto, sprouts…can you get that at Park and Shop? ha ha ha
