CNY and Mad Rush
Chinese New Year is approaching and everyone is making a mad dash for sweets, red pants and big tubs of cooking oil?! Anyway back to the subject of Chinese sweets and I’m sad to say whilst Chinese food is some of the best I’ve ever tasted….Chinese really suck at making sweets! They are usually bland and flavours such as Sugar Cane and Medicine flavour don’t inspire me. The same goes for Chinese chocolate, bread (usually they add lots of sugar), biscuits and anything snack like…I suppose this is a secret of why Chinese don’t really put on weight compared to their fatty Western Counterparts.

I’m glad we did our Chinese New Year shopping we in advance as last time we left it to the last minute and the supermarket was jam packed.
