CNY is approaching which is now the Year of the Rabbit. So what does it mean?
Well, I’m in China and seeing the decorations go up, supermarkets are packed with shoppers buying last minute stocks (particularly sweets!) and buying packets of red envelopers.
The year of the Rabbit for this Chinese New Year means those born under [...]

Chinese New Year 2011
Zhuhai Artist
Blimey over 1 year of not writing anything on this diary, although I know the link juice is strong and SERPs are great – this new entry will get picked up and commented on at some point in time.
Ok, so what’s been happening?
Well, I’ve adjusted to life in China, had a couple of art exhibitions [...]

Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf
So what sort of toys do kids in China buy? Most of the toys in the world come from China, so is interesting to know what the kids here like. Well, it mainly centers around Japanese animation and movies like Doramon or Ultraman, but there’s another programme which is huge and it’s Pleasant [...]

Mao Zedong comes back as a Woman
Here is an astonishing photo of Chen Yan.
A middle aged woman who makes her money impersonating China’s late Chairman Mao Zedong.
She looks just like him!

Gong Li
I’m getting searches for Gong Li too, who as a personal preference is much more interesting to look at than Zhang Ziyi Pictures.
Chinese Actress Gong Li
Well since China’s Outrage is in the news, Gong Li was also in the press for becoming a Singapore Citizen. She’s been called a traitor as well as other things, [...]

Zhang Ziyi in Playboy
Just a quick follow up to the popular Zhang Ziyi Beach Pictures post (so many perverts! haha), that she also posed for Playboy in 2006, the famous American men’s magazine.
Now before you start searching Google for the pictures, she only posed for the cover and an interview…since Playboy’s a serious read anyway right!
Zhang Ziyi in [...]

Zhang Ziyi Beach Photo
There seems to be alot of fuss about Zhang Ziyi’s beach photo where she and her boyfriend are on a private beach, then she’s topless briefly and he grabs her ass.
It’s not really a big deal after seeing the photos, just a normal couple playing around, it’s nothing like the Edison Chan Scandal…although I’m wondering [...]
Drinking Culture
I forgot to mention that Shanghai has many “all you can eat” restaurants with the selection of food ranging from hairy crab to sushi. The Chef cooks your selection infront you on a huge hot plate and found it amazing to watch these masters at work.
Anyway, on the most recent visit I got a bit [...]
